2. Characters and Uses: Yellow Lead is a kind of yellow or yellowish brown powder, its specific density is 9.53, melting point is 888 , boiling point is 1470 . It doesn't dissolve in water and alcohol, but dissolves in glacial acetic acid easily; it is poisonous while dissolving in nitric acid.
